005 -- stay where you are
Who: Sora and Aerith
Where: Hollow Bastion
When: Sometime after Kairi is kidnapped
What: Sora loses a duel stance. Aerith will save the day!
Rating: G for extreme mothering and fluff
[sometimes, it felt like it was too easy to forget that the youngest one out of all of them was the one who was struggling against all the worlds' threats the most.]
[at least, it seemed that way to Aerith whenever Sora happened back into her care, whenever something hit him just too hard that his own curative magic just wasn't enough. she had no idea what he'd meant when he'd labeled "duel stance" as the cause of injury; all Aerith knew was that he'd be out of the fight for another day or so.]
[but these sort of things are what she's here for. watching over him when he needed her was the most she could do for him. she'll pull up a chair at Sora's bedside for now, book open in her lap, the warm smell of soup wafting about the room.]
